Abstract

This paper presents a new integration perspective for the power divider and phase shifter. Traditionally, they are regarded as individual components and directly cascaded with each other. Our preliminary research indicates it is feasible to integrate power divider and phase shifter into one component. This integration not only can enhance the magnitude and phase shift bandwidth at the same time, but also reduce circuit size and insertion loss as well as improve the isolation performance and operating band selection. The design and experimental results of several practical examples are shown.
