AbstractIn order to simplify the model and facilitate model calculation, human tissue is considered to be isotropic in the current quasi-static intra-body energy communication model, which ignores the effect of tissue on electric signal transmission and causes great difference between the result and the actual measurement; tissue characteristics are added in the model so as to reduce the model error and improve the model precision. The channel model based on human tissue's characteristics in the cylindrical coordinate system is built by means of Maxwell's equation and in combination with human tissue's characteristics. The model is verified through comparison between model calculation and experiments on human body. In combination with anisotropic electric parameters (muscle) of human tissue, the obtained channel model is used to derive respectively the channel model with human tissue's characteristics and the one without these characteristics in MATLAB2010a. It can be found by comparison that the gain curve of the channel model with human tissue's characteristics added is highly consistent with experimental data, and meanwhile the model precision is greatly improved. © Sila Science.
