AbstractThe motion of holes in antiferromagnets is investigated in higher dimensions (2+1 and 3+1) within the Shankar model. In the nonrelativistic limit (cvF or Jt) A and B holes residing on respective A and B sublattices form pairs. The pairing gap is calculated by the BCS weak-coupling theory. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
